Off-line Students: Steps for Creating an On-line Learner account

Required Items:

·    Notebook, Laptop, or Desktop Computer (3 years old or younger)

·    Internet Access (2MB or Higher)

·    Windows 7 +

·    Firefox web browser (download at: www.firefox.com)

 

 Step 1:

Open your web browser and type in this web address:

https://www.mrquicksclass.com

Step 3:

·   Allow the registration page to fully load

·   Enter your username using your real name with the prefix 10a, 11a, or 12a corresponding with your grade level.

· Allow the page to fully load

· In the right side panel click on “Create new account

*The password must have at least 8 characters, at least 1 digit(s), at least 1 lower case letter(s)

Step 4:

· After selecting your username and password, scroll down

· Under “More Details” enter YOUR PARENT’S (Father’s or Mother’s) EMAIL ADDRESS

·  After entering your parent’s email address, enter your Real name again with the same prefix you entered with your username

Step 5:

· After typing in the appropriateCAPTCHA

· Select your Class and Level

· Click “Create my New Account”

· After creating your account,

· Have your parent to confirm the account

· If your account is created without a parent’s email address, your account will be deleted.

· There will be no exceptions to this rule.

·   In essence, you are creating a shared account with your parents.

Step 7:

·   Tell your parent to go to their email “Inbox”

·   Open the “Mr. Quick’s Class” email

· Click on the confirmation link

· After clicking on the confirmation link, a browser window should open

· Click on the “Courses” buttonDescription11

· After clicking “Courses” button, allow the page to fully load

· Scroll down to the administration panel on the right side and click on “My profile setting”

· Then click on “Edit Profile”

· After clicking “Edit Profile” allow the page to fully load

· Scroll down and click on “User Picture”

· Drag-and-drop a Selfie portrait of yourself that is both a clear and easily recognizable image of yourself

Step 13:

· After uploading a selfie, wait for course enrollment email notification

· You should receive an email notifying you that you have been enrolled into a course

· If you do not receive an email notification of course enrollment, periodically log back into the site to check

· When you have been enrolled into a course, you will see the name and link to the course
